Reactions to the late Ezeife’s daughter disclosing the reasons her father backed Obi in the 2023 elections

Following Dr. Mrs. Ogelue Ezeife Ugorji’s revelation of the rationale behind her late father Chukwuemeka Ezeife’s support for Peter Gregory Obi, the former governor of Anambra state, in the 2023 presidential race, social media users responded in a variety of ways. In a post that was shared on the official X handle of Dr. Moses Paul, the daughter of the Late Chukwuemeka Ezeife said her father’s support for Peter Obi in the 2023 presidential election was based on his deep commitment to justice and equality. She said her father believed in a fair and united Nigeria under Peter Obi’s leadership.

Dr Moses Paul wrote on his page;

“Dr. Mrs. Ogelue C. Ezeife Ugorji, daughter of the late Gov. Chukwemeka Ezeife, fondly known as Okwadike, shared that her father’s support for the Labour Party’s presidential candidate stemmed from his deep commitment to justice and equality. At his Commendation Service in Awka, she spoke of his unwavering belief in a fair and united Nigeria under Peter Obi’s leadership”.
