Peter Gregory Obi, a candidate for the Labour Party, LP in the 2023 presidential election and a former governor of Anambra state, has responded to the most recent violent attacks on some Plateau state people. The former governor of Anambra state said that there are numerous reports of attacks in Mangu and Bokkos Local Government Area in Plateau state in a post he published on his official X Twitter on Sunday. He wrote on his page;
“Regrettably again, the media is awash with reports of violent attacks in Mangu and Bokkos Local Council Areas of Plateau State, where no fewer than 12 lives were lost, including a student of Plateau State University, in Bokkos area of the State, with many sustaining varying degrees of injuries. These sustained waves of attacks in Plateau State, and in every part of the nation, have continued to distress every well-meaning Nigerian”
