The image was posted on Peter Obi’s verified Twitter page. He revealed the photo and explained that it was a wedding ceremony that took place in Kano state. He claimed to have gone to the function with Yusuf Datti Baba Ahmed, the Labour Party’s vice presidential candidate.
He wrote on his page, “Today, I visited Kano State with my brother, Dr Datti Baba-Ahmed, where we joined other respected Nigerians to attend the wedding of General Abdulrahman Dambazau’s daughter, Aisha.General Dambazau, a Former Federal Minister of Interior, had also served our dear nation as a two-time Chief of Army Staff. I pray God Almighty to protect and bless the newly wedded couple, grant them abundant health and happiness, and bless their union with love, joy, understanding, and peace”.
