Raisi: To those that accept the bad weather narrative that is being put out, I say stop- According to Fani KayodeThe untimely death of Iran’s president, Ebrahim Raisi, in a helicopter crash a few hours ago prompted former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode to voice his thoughts on social media. Recall that President Ebrahim Raisi, Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Abdollahian and Ebrahim Raisi’s entourage of senior officials were all involved in a helicopter incident that took their lives in the late hours of yesterday.

According to media outlets, such incident occurred as a result of bad weather and the bodies of president Ebrahim Raisi and other victimes have been found at the crash site.

And so Femi Fani-Kayode in reaction to such unfortunate news, took to his official X account to state that the loss of president Ebrahim Raisi, Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Abdollahian and others is a tragedy of monumental proportions, adding that his sincere condolences go to the government and people of Iran.

Speaking further, Femi Fani-Kayode noted that;

“We still have much to learn about what really happened but to those that accept the bad weather narrative that is being put out as the cause of the crash, I say stop, think and do not be so gullible and naive.”

The APC chieftain finally stated that there was no individual that was more committed to the Palestinian struggle than Ebrahim Raisi, adding that may his soul and the souls of those that died with him find rest.
