The head of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has urged President Bola Tinubu to confront Nigeria’s growing economic problems before unrest escalates into large-scale demonstrations. Oluwatosin Osho, the clergyman’s spokeswoman, underlined how urgent it is to give the economic crisis top priority. According to Ayodele, the worsening economic conditions have left people hungry, with salary earners struggling to meet their basic needs. He issued a stark warning that if immediate action is not taken, widespread protests are inevitable. The clergyman urged Tinubu to prioritize solving economic issues, emphasizing that the plight of citizens could escalate to a point where governors struggle to pay salaries.

During his 2024 prophecies, Primate Ayodele outlined five key areas for President Tinubu to focus on: ensuring stable electricity, enhancing security and acquiring more weapons, developing infrastructure, promoting agriculture for food security, and creating employment opportunities.
