Speaking in-depth on Channels television, Professor Kila praised President Tinubu’s admirable goals for the nation. He acknowledged the president’s goals and admirable intentions to alleviate Nigerians’ economic hardships. Professor Kila did, however, voice concerns on how these goals would be carried out in a way that would have a real influence on the economic crisis.

In his analysis, Professor Kila awarded high marks to President Tinubu in terms of good intentions, however, he juxtaposed this with a critical evaluation of the actual implementation of these intentions, asserting that President Tinubu has fallen short in converting promises into concrete actions.

“The president and the presidency is very high on intention but I scored him low on actions generally since he took office. It’s either the situation is complex or that what they’ve planned is not as impactful as one would’ve expected. It’s not me or Nigerians who said that they arem going to hit the ground running, it is the presidency as a team who started that phrase of hitting the ground running.
