“If you look at the capital budget of all our teaching hospitals from that of University of Ibadan, University of Lagos, University of Nigeria, University of Jos, If you put all their capital budget and that of the primary health care together, it’s not up to the money we used to buy our new plane. That is where the problem is, the same thing goes to the National Assembly, where you have budgets we don’t have a National Library where people can go and have reference in everything. The budget for it this year is under 1 billion naira, but they have National Assembly library of 15 billion naira which nobody is going to use”.
“So it’s not about me, if you are there, you have to come out and show your subjects the way to go and you have to start with yourself who’s on the negative side before you can tell other people to manage their own situation”, Peter Obi said.
