Expressing dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs in the country, Obi highlighted the predominant focus on elections, transactions, and trivial matters, which he believes neglects the genuine needs of the populace.

He emphasized that his primary concern lies in the well-being of the people, particularly those who are underprivileged.

Recently, Peter Obi initiated the commissioning of boreholes donated to several Northern Communities, aiming to address their water scarcity challenges.

The Northern region of Nigeria has been grappling with water supply issues, adversely affecting farmers and leading to poor crop yields.

Despite facing criticism from some Nigerians regarding the aesthetics of the projects, Peter Obi defended his actions, emphasizing that the provision of water should not be politicized by the opposition or Nigerian elites.

He said in a press conference reported by AIT, ”What we are doing in this country is not fair to the people of this country. Because we bother ourselves with issues of elections, transactions, and all sorts of things that do not bother the people.

I have never gone to where I’m drilling boreholes and mentioned the name of my party. I even tell them I’m not here on a campaign. You can vote for whoever you want to when the election comes.

However, I’m here to ensure that I support the well-being of the people. And the well-being of the poor people is my concern 24 hours.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
