Osuntokun encouraged a focus on the greater good and the next generation, rather than fixating on personal ambitions. He reminded me that politicians often look ahead to the next election, and the next generation should be the priority. This perspective highlights the importance of collective progress over individual interests.

According to him, “Nigeria is not about Obi alone, right? We’ve got to understand that. If he’s unable to get it before 2027, for me, as far as I’m concerned, he’s not the only one from the southeast. I don’t focus on individuals; Nigeria is not about individual ambition.
