Over South Africa's victory against Israel at the International Court of Justice Shehu Sani reactions

According to reports, South Africa’s complaint against Israel was heard by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague, which issued a preliminary verdict on Friday. The ruling accused Israeli forces of committing genocide in Gaza and ordered Israel to cease its military attack. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

At a two-day hearing this month, South Africa requested the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to establish temporary measures compelling Israel to immediately cease its military strikes in Gaza. These attacks started following the massacre carried out by Hamas on October 7, 2023, according to Leadership.

More information that was given made it known that about 1,200 Israelis, who aee mainly citizens, were killed in the October 7th coordinated attacks, with 240 taken hostage, an estimated 129 of whom are still being held captive.

However, while Senator Shehu Sani, who happens to be the former senator representing the Kaduna Central Senatorial District, was reacting to the ICJ ruling, he congratulated South Africa, and claimed that the country had proven itself to the world.

He said, “I wish to congratulate the Government and the good people of the Republic of South Africa for the victory of the genocide case against Israel in the International Court of Justice. South Africa has proven itself to be a World moral leader and history will record you as the upholder, and defender of international law and Justice.”

Further talking, he said, “The people of Palestine have stood on the side of Africa during the Anti Apartheid struggle, and today SA has reciprocated the revolutionary gesture. Supporters on Apartheid colonialism,occupation and bloody mass killings in Gaza are put to shame. No nation should be treated above international law and justice.” CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
