He emphasised how many people are opening up business centres where pastors, reverends, and other church officials are left to embezzle church monies and members of the congregation are treated as clients.
However, in a video posted by TVC News,the former national chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Oshiomhole, emphasized the erroneousness of the credence given by religious leaders who usually preach to their followers, asking them to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ so as to break free from poverty, labeling the whole belief as false.
According to the video, “When people preach that if you believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, you will be delivered from poverty, that’s a lie.”.
