Oshiomhole stated that there are harsh consequences for any parent who denies their child the right to an education, citing the necessity of education for all children.
However, the seventy-two-year-old politician maintained that he has been a member of the National Economic Council, where some state governors send their children to study abroad, while they argued that they do not have the resources to pay for a fifty percent subsidy in order to ensure that the children of the poor are being educated.
