He asked that if the security apparatus and politicians were doing the right things, then why are they looking for special protection?

Speaking further, he said that one person who was voted into office by the masses moves around with over 20 convoys of armed security guards, yet there are barely enough personnel at the police posts.

He said that the politicians lived together with the masses during the elections, and were even seen eating on the streets and nobody harmed them, but immediately after winning elections they are investing so much to have security personnel protecting them.

He said, “Something is just not right somewhere, and I think that’s what we’re not addressing. What are the actual problems? Because if we had a safe and secure society, if our security men are well equipped, well-motivated, and made to play their traditional roles, we would not have special situations where few individuals, less than 5 per cent of the entire population, are given 80 per cent concentrated protection just to keep them safe.
