Ondo: The past governor is from Owo but if you get there it looks as if there is no govt—According to Adebayo

Former Social Democratic Party (SDP) presidential candidate Adewole Adebayo has voiced reservations about the way his state, Ondo State, is run, especially under the administration of Rotimi Akeredolu, the state’s most recent governor. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

In an interview with The Sun, Adebayo alleged that despite Akeredolu being from Owo, the town seemed to lack effective governance. He further highlighted the isolation of Ondo South from both state and federal support. He added that the state cannot afford to prioritize partisanship and urged the implementation of a comprehensive, long-term development plan.

In Adewole’s words: “The past governor (Akeredolu) is from Owo but if you get there, it looks as if there is no government. The entire Ondo South has been cut off from both state and federal support, imagine being cut off from the national grid for 10 years, that cannot continue.
