Onanuga: Some People Are Saying That The Man Who Came Third Actually Won The Election

According to Bayo Onanuga, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Special Advisor on Information and Strategy, those who were against Tinubu from the start have been attempting to undermine his government. During an appearance on MIC ON PODCAST with Seun Okinbaloye of Channels Television, Onanuga stated that some people are still claiming that President Tinubu manipulated the election and that the winner was the candidate who finished in third. He said, “Up till now, some people are still writing that Bola Tinubu stole the presidency. Some people are saying that the man who came third actually won the election, and they are very unapologetic about that. How could someone who came third, how could he have won the election? How could he have won it?

“Sometimes, some of those things they say, you cannot really understand the basis of it. In a race, the man who came third, you are still saying up till now that he actually won the election. You are still saying Bola Tinubu stole the presidency. How did he steal it?”

It should be recalled that Peter Obi of the Labour Party came third in the election that was won by President Tinubu. Obi and his team had initially rejected the outcome of the election and had approached the court to challenge it, but the court had upheld President Tinubu’s election.

Speaking further during the interview, Onanuga said that during the talk about the naira, some people were happy that the naira was falling. He claimed that the people who were rejoicing over the fall of the naira were members of the Obidient movement. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
