The incident sparked various reactions from Nigerians, with some poking fun at the President while others played down its significance, noting that he continued with the event without interruption.

In response to the incident, Onanuga took to his social media handle to emphasize that the President’s fall should not overshadow the significance of the Democracy Day celebration. He reminded everyone that Tinubu, like any human being, is prone to such mishaps, citing examples of other political leaders, including President Joe Biden and former President Barack Obama, who also experienced slips despite their positions.

Onanuga stressed, “President Tinubu is not a Superman. He is human, like all of us.” He urged that such incidents should not detract from the importance of the occasion.

He pointed out that even presidents are susceptible to such human occurrences, citing instances involving President Biden and former Cuban leader Fidel Castro.

In essence, both Onanuga and Sani highlighted the human aspect of political leaders and advocated for understanding and empathy rather than criticism for such incidents.READ FULL STORY HERE>>>CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING>>>
