Oliver Okpala “People were going into CBN late at night to withdraw billions unaccounted for”

The APC national chairman’s senior special assistant, Chief Oliver Okpala, has responded to the PDP’s recent criticism of the 2024 budget, calling it a dishonest and depressing budget. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

In an interview with The Sun, Okpala said that the PDP lacked legitimacy to evaluate the performance of the APC and rejected its criticism of the 2024 budget. He denounced the PDP’s previous administration, claiming that they fraudulently withdrew billions of naira from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), impeding the country’s economic expansion.

In Okpala’s words: “Under the PDP administration, what was happening? People were going into Central Bank late at night to withdraw billions unaccounted for. They made nonsense of Nigeria’s economic growth. You don’t expect PDP to say that APC is performing. You can never expect them to say that. Besides, who are the people still in PDP?
