Former National Administrative Secretary of the National Centre Party of Nigeria (NCPN), Chief Johnny Ucheaga, has stated that while several accusations have been made against Tinubu, none of them have called into question his citizenship as a citizen of Nigeria or his status as an adult. Ucheaga made this statement during an interview with The Sun. He asserted that Tinubu, based on his political track record, is qualified to be President. He also pointed out Tinubu’s previous roles as a senator, governor of Lagos State, and his significant influence in the formation of a coalition that brought President Muhammadu Buhari to power in 2015 and 2019.

In Ucheaga’s words: “Nigeria is a very difficult country to govern hence of all the allegations against Tinubu, the one I have not heard is that he is not a Nigerian or an adult. So, any other allegation is neither here nor there.
