During recent visits to mosques in Onitsha and Awka, where he joined in the breaking of the fast with local Muslims, Mr. Obi graciously provided money and bags of rice. Alhaji Siddiki reminisced about Mr. Obi’s tenure as the governor of Anambra State, highlighting his equitable treatment of the Muslim community, his active participation in Ramadan fasting, his sponsorship of pilgrimages, and his assistance with mosque renovations.
