Obasanjo Went For The Best Heads In 1999, But This Government Says They Know Everything—According to Ologunagba

In an exclusive interview with Arise Television, Debo Ologunagba, the National Publicity Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), expressed that the current administration, headed by President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, believes it knows everything. Ologunagba said during the interview, “When the PDP came in 1999, former President Obasanjo went to look for the best heads like Okonjo-Iweala and the best in the industry to help, but this government says they know everything.

“The challenge we have is that we are in the clime where we celebrate failure. President Tinubu is overwhelmed, and the APC is overwhelmed because their focus is not on the people but on themselves because these are groups of people who didn’t go there to serve but to serve themselves.

On whether the present administration has fixed Nigeria, Ologunagba said, “We were all here during the electioneering campaign where the president was touted as having fixed Lagos; he will fix Nigeria. Is this how to fix Nigeria?

“On day one, you removed the petroleum subsidy without reason. Yes, the PDP said we were going to remove subsidies, but we gave a timeline for how to proceed on that.
