"Very Soon, After Salah, I'm Going To Hand Over Staff Of Office To All Of You"The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, intervened in an attempt to end the ongoing chieftaincy dispute in Kwali, promising to present the office staff to all parties concerned. As he opened a 3.2-kilometer access road to Kwali Bridge, Wike had a conversation with the newly appointed chief at Kwali Area Council. He gave the chief and other concerned parties his word that he would cooperate with the mandate secretariat and the local councils to provide a speedy solution. In order to settle the chieftaincy conflict and bring peace back to the village, Wike pledged to take this important action.

In his words, “Let me also assure the new chief, I don’t know you before; I’ve not seen you before. I hear about your squabble, and I believe that there’s no need.”

“All of us are the same; it’s only one person who will occupy the throne at the same time. Very soon, after the salah, I am going to hand over the staff of the office to all of you.”
