Nyesom Wike: Fubara protected you when the EFCC wanted you, he put it on his head – According to Anabs Sara Igbe

Anabs Rivers State elder statesman Sara Igbe has said that Governor Siminalayi Fubara was crucial in preventing former Governor Nyesom Wike from coming under EFCC investigation. He said that Fubara helped Wike out by taking on these difficulties himself. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Igbe made this statement in an interview with Silverbird TV while speaking about the political crisis between Fubara and Wike. He criticized Wike’s treatment of Fubara, accusing him of undermining Fubara’s experience and capabilities. He also argued that had the elders of the PDP been sincere and clear in addressing the matter, the political crisis might not have escalated

In Igbe’s words: “He (Fubara) protected you when the EFCC wanted you, he put it on his head and he had done all that for you. He was the former accountant-general who knows what comes in and what goes out and you are now trying to treat him as if he is a novice. And the boy said if that is the case, let me go and the PDP elders said no.
