Nyesom Wike Boasted That Nobody Can Remove The Member Representing Ogu-Bolo Constituency–According to Edwin ClarkIjaw leader Edwin Clark recently issued a statement urging the All Progressives Congress (APC) national chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, and his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart, Umar Damagum, to take action against Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike. Clark expressed serious concerns over Wike’s recent comments, in which he seemed to take pleasure in causing difficulties for Governor Siminalayi Fubara. The Ijaw leader emphasized that such statements have the potential to destabilize Rivers State, a key economic hub due to its significant oil production and the presence of the Onne deep seaport.

In his letter, Clark urged the leaders of Nigeria’s two major political parties to recognize the gravity of Wike’s actions and their potential to spark unrest. He pointed out that both Ganduje and Damagum are well aware of Wike’s activities and cannot ignore the looming threat they pose to the stability of Rivers State. He also referenced Wike’s assertive declaration that no one could remove the member representing Ogu-Bolo Constituency, implying that such behavior is a prelude to more severe constitutional breaches and potential chaos.
