Nwanyanwu stated in an interview with Channels TV that, if elected in 2023, he would bring fuel costs down to ₦100 within nine months.

Nwanyanwu explained his strategy involved fixing the Port Harcourt and Warri refineries, saying he knew the specific faults of the plants and had expert projections to support his plan.

When asked about practical considerations like the dollar exchange rate, Nwanyanwu asserted the rate would be “inconsequential” and not a major obstacle to achieving ₦100 fuel.
