The NLC officials claimed that soldiers had surrounded the venue, creating tension among participants.

“Soldiers are presently surrounding the venue of the meeting between Labour and Government at the premises of the SGF,” NLC wrote.

The crisis over the minimum wage has been ongoing, leading to the NLC’s decision to embark on a nationwide strike.

The NLC is voicing for an increase in the minimum wage to address the rising cost of living and improve the welfare of workers across the country.
