The Nigerian army tweeted, “Army Headquarters has been alerted to nonsensical breaking news from the NLC, which claims that soldiers are currently encircling the location of the ongoing meeting between the NLC and the SGF.
On the reason why some military personnel were in the venue, “Kindly note that the NSA, MallamNuhu Ribadu, who is also attending the meeting, arrived at the meeting venue with his retinue of statutorily approved military escorts. Once the meeting is over, the escorts will lead the NSA from the venue.
