Following their defeat to Cote d’Ivoire in the 2023 African Cup of Nations final, Nigerians and social media users were ecstatic to see the legendary attacker Victor Osimhen of both the Nigerian Super Eagles and Napoli, along with Ivorian president Alassane Ouattara, welcoming the fans at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium on Sunday night. You will recall that the Elephant of Cote d’Ivoire came from a goal down in the first half to beat the Super Eagles of Nigeria 2-1 in the finals of the just concluded African Cup of Nations tournament at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium on Sunday night.

Having successfully won the 2023 African Cup of Nations title, Cote d’Ivoire president, Alassane Ouattara was seen holding Victor Osimhen hands and asking him to greet the Ivorian fans present at the stadium on Sunday night.
