Following their side’s 3-2 Sunday loss, supporters of Trabzonspor, a Turkish soccer team, stormed the field and got into a brawl with visiting Fenerbahce players and security personnel.
However, one of the fan who ran onto the pitch, tried to attack the Nigerian international, Bright Osayi Samuel, but was brought down by the Super Eagles defender who was seen beating and punching the fan and had to be stopped by his Fenerbahce teammates.
Seeing the Nigerian Super Eagles defender beating a fan on the pitch in Turkey on Sunday, has attracted reactions from Nigerians and social media users, as some have claimed his action could cause his career, while some have said he is truly from Nigeria.
