The Eagles, led by Jose Peseiro, will be looking to bounce back from their hard-fought 1-1 draw against Zimbabwe in their most recent 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match. They will take on Guinea on Monday in an attempt to get back to winning ways ahead of their 2023 African Cup of Nations campaign in Ivory Coast.
Team News:
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will be going into Monday’s test game against Guinea without the services of Wilfred Ndidi who is currently undergoing treatment for the injury he sustained a few weeks ago. The Leicester City man will also miss the 2023 African Cup of Nations.
Kelechi Iheanacho will also miss the friendly game against Guinea on Monday, as he is yet to resume training with the Super Eagles in Abu Dhabi following the injury he sustained a few weeks ago.
