Reacting, Shehu Sani stated that the woman informed him that she only sold yam and didn’t sell dollars when he asked her to lower the price of her goods because the Naira was appreciating against the dollar.
Senator Shehu Sani made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle on Sunday afternoon.
Shehu Sani wrote: “I told a trader that the value of Dollar has come down and that she should bring down the prices of her goods and she replied, Ahh Oga, I no de sell Dollar na yam I de sell.”
