Wike appreciated various dignitaries for attending his banquet in Rivers State. He also thanked the chairman and the Elders Council for their stand against violence and crisis. He stated that the chairman is noted for consistently advocating for peace and for his commitment to promoting and preaching peace.

According to him, “My dear speaker who has abandoned us and moved to the other side, we’ll meet on the battlefield at the appropriate time. The chairman and the Elders Council, at his age of 84, shows leadership. He’s a very young man (84 years old) who always wants peace anywhere he is, and he’ll continue to promote and preach peace.
