Mixed Reactions Following President Tinubu Reportedly Clears 12 Billion Naira Outstanding Payment For Super Eagle

Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has resolved the pending payment of 12 billion naira for Nigeria’s national teams in a number of sports, including the Super Eagles. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

The payment covers the senior national team coaches’ 15-month salary arrears as well as the allowances and bonuses owed to the senior national teams, women’s teams, and under-20 national team, according to a post made by the President’s networking Center on the social networking platform X.

The post read: “President Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu has approved the payment of 12 billion naira outstanding backlog for Nigeria’s national teams of various sports, which includes Super Eagles and others. The payment entails the clearing of the senior national team coach salaries running up to 15 months, payment of allowances and promises due to the senior national teams, females and under 20 national team.”
