Peter Obi stated that the event took place in Abuja on Thursday in a post that he uploaded on his page on Friday.
According to him, there was also a book presentation and a fundraiser for the Cardinal Onaiyekan Foundation for Peace at the event.
Peter Obi stated that he was honoured and glad to celebrate Cardinal Onaiyekan whose courageous fatherly voice has continued to echo for a better Nigeria.
Peter Obi wrote on his page;
“I was glad yesterday to join other respected Nigerians in Abuja at the 80th birthday anniversary celebration of His Eminence Cardinal John Onaiyekan. The event also witnessed a Book Presentation and fundraising for the Cardinal Onaiyekan Foundation for Peace”.
