Aisha Yesufu was supposed to release the financial statement following the Supreme Court’s ruling, but Bashir Ahmad said on his X handle that she hasn’t done it yet. He remarked It’s surprising that Aisha Yesufu, who frequently presents herself as the personification of integrity, is now receiving requests from all directions to keep her own word.
He said even if she does it tomorrow, the delay in releasing the statement makes it lose its initial honor and timeliness.
“It’s quite unexpected that Aisha Yesufu, who often portrays herself as the epitome of integrity, is now facing calls from left, right and center to fulfill her own promises. Despite her earlier commitment to disclose the financial statement for the Peter Obi presidential campaign immediately after the Supreme Court judgment, months passed now, and there has been no word from her.
