Darna Tsolawo, Tudun Gudali, Tozai, Sabon Garin Darna, Takalmawa, Gidan Hamma, Ambarura, Basanta, Gidan Bulutu, Dan Kadu, and a number of other nearby villages are reportedly among the ones he has been frightening. Security analyst and counter-insurgency specialist Zagazola Makama made the following statement: “He has killed dozens of people, burned down villages, kidnapped hundreds, and imposed levies on villages for almost ten years.”
Furthermore, Zagazola Makama disclosed that the bandit chieftain was apprehended by the Nigerien military while attempting to smuggle cattle across the Nigeria-Niger frontier.
He said, “He was apprehended by Nigerien forces when he tried to rustle livestock through the country border.”
