Sahara reporters have learned that at least two Boko Haram leaders have married Christian schoolgirl Leah Sharibu, who was kidnapped by militants from the group in 2018. Sharibu was a resident of Yobe State, Nigeria. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

After converting to Islam, Sharibu first married Abdulrahman and had a son with him, according to a “repentant” terrorist. She wedded a high-ranking commander called Ali Abdallah and had a daughter with him following Abdulrahman’s death in an air raid. According to reports, Abdallah rose to the position of Chief Judge of the Lake Chad basin’s Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP).

The revelation about Sharibu’s marriages came from a “repentant” Boko Haram fighter who spoke to SaharaReporters. Sharibu was among the 110 female students abducted from the Government Girls’ Science and Technical College in Dapchi, Yobe State, by Boko Haram insurgents. Her abduction and subsequent captivity have drawn international attention and raised concerns about the safety of girls in conflict zones. The disclosure about her marriages sheds new light on her ordeal and the complex dynamics within Boko Haram’s ranks.
