Lamido Said El-Rufai Is Now Among Ordinary Nigerians Who Don't Have Any Power Odinkalu Reacts

Human rights advocate and attorney Prof. Chidi Anselm Odinkalu responded to comments made by Sule Lamido, the former governor of Jigawa state, that Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna state, was now just one of many common Nigerians without status or authority. Lamido said now that El-Rufai has returned to his path, he will understand that there is difference between talking while having power and talking while having no power.

The former Jigawa governor was quoted as saying;

“Thank God he has now returned to our path of ordinary persons without power or position, he will now see the reality of what it takes. There is indeed a difference talking while having power or position and talking while having no power or position. There are many like myself in this club of ordinary Nigerians, we are over fifty in Nigeria or even more like myself without power or position, he is welcome to the club”.

However, Prof Chidi Anselm Odinkalu has now reacted to the statement that was made by Sule Lamido. In the post that he shared on his official X handle, he said it is a good season for Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.
