Kingsley Fanwo: We had a Governor who was the best in Kogi’s history and you reward him with victimization

Kingsley Fanwo, Kogi State’s Commissioner of Information, bemoaned the mistreatment of former governor Yahaya Bello amid accusations of embezzlement, strongly denouncing what he saw as unwarranted victimization. In an interview with Channels Television, Fanwo praised Bello’s administration, calling it the best in the state’s history for the development of human capital and infrastructure. “We had a Governor who has the best in the history of the State – infrastructural development, human capital development, and all of that,” expressed Fanwo, highlighting Bello’s achievements during his time in office. However, Fanwo expressed dismay at the perceived ingratitude shown towards Bello, suggesting that his exemplary leadership is being met with unwarranted victimization.

In his words;

“We had a Governor who was the best in the history of the State – Infrastructural development, human capital development and all of that and this is what he would be rewarded with, with victimization.
