Moreover, he claimed that when Nyesom Wike paid millions of naira to buy nomination forms for every lawmaker and PDP candidate running for governor in 2023, no one asked him where the money came from.

He highlighted the close association between Governor Fubara and Wike during their management of the state’s finances, cautioning Fubara against throwing proverbial stones that might shatter his own glass house and potentially expose both Fubara and Wike’s alleged illicit financial dealings.

He emphasized that any potential probe must be conducted genuinely to uncover the truth behind these accusations.

He said, “Since 1999, he (Wike) has been in the corridor of power making money from Rivers State. What has been his salary all this while? If there’s a probe of his wealth, how is he going to account for the money spent? Now, Siminalayi Fubara was his (Wike) man when they were dealing with Finances of Rivers. He who lives in a glass house should not throw stones.
