Appoints 27 Sole Administrators by the Governor of Imo State

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma appointed 27 sole administrators to manage the council areas’ operations, marking a major step toward local governance, according to Vanguard. Declan Emelumba, the state commissioner for information, public orientation, and strategy, revealed the appointments to reporters during a briefing in Owerri. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

The sole administrators are set to assume their roles for a tenure of 60 days, after which Governor Uzodimma plans to conduct local government elections in the state. Emelumba reiterated the governor’s commitment to ensuring the credibility and transparency of the electoral process in Imo State.

The appointed sole administrators and their respective local government areas are as follows:

Isiala Mbano – Hon. Okoroike Chika

Onuimo – Dr. Obi Emeka

Okigwe – Hon. Sir Acho Asiegbu

Obowo – Barr Obioma Ehirim

Ehime Mbano – Chief Uche Nwodu
