Jesutega Onokpasa had said, “The problem is that the negotiations did not fail, the truth about the matter is that the Labour leaders, both of them, the top leaders, Joe Ajaero and Festus Osifo, they just lack negotiating skills; that’s just the bitter truth. They don’t know how to negotiate, they ought to go and brief a lawyer to negotiate on their behalf, it’s not me, they don’t have – they can’t even afford me, I don’t want them to retain me, to brief me, to negotiate on their behalf. They don’t know how to negotiate, you don’t run away from the negotiating table, and their approach to trade unionism is most appalling; strike, strike, strike, what have we achieved with strikes?
