Jnr Pope: Eboh Disclosed Okafor Was Standing, Pouring Libation, and Blocked the Boat Driver's View

The circumstances surrounding the boat accident that claimed the lives of Nollywood actor Junior Pope and four other people on the Anam River in Anambra State have been clarified by veteran actor and Special Adviser (SA) to the President of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) on Military Relations, Steve Eboh, according to Vanguard. Eboh, aka Ajebo, said he was part of the production associates of the movie, ‘Another Side of Life,’ which the deceased actors and crew members were involved in shooting. The movie was to be produced by Adanma Luke. Eboh, however, was not part of the ill-fated boat trip because he had gone to the location much earlier and went back home to await the arrival of the rest of the cast and crew.

According to Eboh’s narration, one of the cast, TC Okafor, who incidentally survived the accident, was largely responsible for the accident on account of his actions during the ill-fated journey.

The veteran actor said that from the firsthand information he got, Okafor kept standing during the journey and was pouring libation on the water while ringing a bell at the same time. He (Okafor) blocked the boat driver’s view in the process so he (boat driver) didn’t see the oncoming canoe, resulting in the collision that caused the boat to capsize.

Interestingly, TC Okafor had gone on Instagram Live to recount what happened during the boat journey. He blamed the carelessness and inexperience of the boat driver for the mishap. His narration has been trending on social media since Thursday. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
