A well-known member of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Senator Magnus Abe, has publicly expressed his thoughts about rejoining the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating that he would like to fully embrace the policies supported by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Sen. Abe revealed in an open interview on Channels Television tonight that he thinks it would be easier for the APC to support Tinubu’s goals if they aligned with them, which has led him to consider running again. “I supported Tinubu with the understanding of the SDP leadership at that time. But now those conditions may no longer be rife, it’s no longer possible for me to continue to support Tinubu in the SDP, the SDP may not take it this time as they took it in the past. So it’s better I go back to the APC and lend my full support to the work I know that the president can do. The political parties are basically a platform, and my decision to go to the SDP was born out of what was happening in Rivers state at that time.
