The raid was carried out against a workshop located west of Khan Younis, where the Palestinian faction manufactured weapons like as anti-tank missiles, long-range rockets, explosive devices, and mines, as reported by Al Jazeera and the army on Telegram.

The army also said that it destroyed a tunnel network under the site, which it claimed was used to store and transport weapons.

The raid came amid heightened tensions between Israel and the armed groups in Gaza, which have exchanged fire in recent weeks. Israel holds the Islamic Jihad responsible for most of the rocket attacks from Gaza, and accuses Iran of supplying it with weapons and funds.

The Islamic Jihad, which is the second-largest group in Gaza after Hamas, has not commented on the Israeli raid. The group, which opposes any peace talks with Israel, has vowed to continue its resistance and defend the Palestinian cause. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
