The late governor was described by the former vice president, who worked alongside the late Rotimi Akeredolu while he was in office, as a visionary leader who supported the growth of the southwest area of Nigeria.

Yemi Osinbajo also described late Rotimi Akeredolu as a man of integrity, honesty, and moral courage, who worked tirelessly to improve the lives of his people.

Moreover, Yemi Osinbajo and his wife, Dolapo also prayed for the repose of the late governor’s soul and for the comfort of his family and loved ones. They also extended their condolences to the people of Ondo State, who had lost a great leader.

The late governor’s wife, Betty Akeredolu, thanked Yemi Osinbajo and his wife for their visit and said that it was a great comfort to know that late Rotimi Akeredolu was so highly regarded and respected.
