Anabs According to Rivers State Elders Council member Sara Igbe, Fubara disregarded the elders’ warnings that the members of the Rivers State House of Assembly who defected from the PDP to the APC would cause problems for him. In an interview recently shared on YouTube by Arise TV, Igbe said in line with law, the lawmakers lost their seats on the very day they decamped to APC. He said when the elders approached the court to sack the lawmakers, Fubara opposed them (elders). He said they told Fubara that the lawmakers would eventually be his albatross

In Igbe’s words: “We told Fubara what elders sit down to see, a young man will stand he won’t see it. What we saw far away, the governor did not realize and we told him these are your albatross, these people will continue to give you problem.
