Professor Ishaq Akintola, the founder and executive director of the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC), has reportedly called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to recall its ambassador to Israel in protest of Israel’s persistent violations of UN resolutions, according to the Nigerian Tribune. Akintola denounced Israel’s actions while speaking at a Lagos event, saying that African countries would not put up with such conduct.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

He criticized the international community for what he described as double standards, highlighting the punitive measures that are often swiftly imposed on African and Arab nations, while Israel faces little to no repercussions for its actions. According to Akintola, the sanctions imposed on weaker nations reflect the global power imbalance and the subjugation of the weak by the strong.

According to him, “UN resolutions are no longer relevant as far as Israel is concerned. Israel violates UN resolutions at will. Let an African nation do half of what Israel has done to the United Nations resolutions and it will see fire. It will be threatened with boycott and sanctions.”

“It is only African nations and Arab nations, Muslim countries that are victims to UN sanctions, victims of Western economic anger, military sanctions. It is the subjugation of the weak by the strong,” he said.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
