Ichemati/Sokari: According to Wod, Wike Isn’t member of police or IGP, these people were on wanted list of police

A lawyer named Chimenen Wodi has responded to the claim that Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, was involved in the arrest of two of Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s supporters in Abuja. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Goodboy Sokari, a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly, and Ezebunwo Ichemati, a PDP leader, were taken into custody at the PDP National Executive Committee meeting in Abuja. However, Ichemati was later freed.

In a video shared on YouTube by AIT, Wodi said Wike lacked the authority to order their arrests as he is not a member of the police force. He said the power to arrest lies solely with the police, not with Wike. He also said the individuals arrested were on the police’s wanted list which was why they were arrested.

In Wodi’s words: “Wike is not a member of police or IGP, these people were on wanted list of the police. And you know the kind of Police we have in Nigeria, recently they have won a lot of medals”.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
