I Was Talking With Akpabio And He Asked Me, When Are We Building The Senate Pres. Residency?—According to WikeThe Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Minister Nyesom Wike, said in a TVC video that the Senate President asked him, “When will they start building his own residency?” during a conversation regarding the commissioning of the Vice President’s mansion. Speaking further at the commissioning of the Vice President residence, Wike stated that the Senate President is the one to decide when he wants his own residence in Abuja because he is the one who can make provision for it, by including the cost of the project in the national budget.

According to him, “Mr. President, I was talking with the Senate President yesterday, and he asked me, when are we building the Senate President residency? He said he was coming here today to see the Vice President’s residency so that we could provide for the Senate President’s residency. I said to him, Mr. Senate President, you are the one who has the knife, and you are the one who has the yam. Well, if you give me money, I am ready.
