During an interview with Daily Trust TV, Usman described how he came into a story that purportedly showed an army assault on Nnamdi Kanu’s home. But after careful examination, he added, it became clear that the video actually originated in Jos, Plateau State, not the purported scene of the incident. He emphasized how crucial technology is for distinguishing false information from the real thing.

In Usman’s words: “I saw a piece where they said army attacked Kanu’s house but we realized the clip was from Jos by the time we subjected it. This is just by the way just to tell you the importance of technology. Taking you (interviewer) for example, by the time you use artificial intelligence, just give me information about Idris (Interviewer) I can assure you the gold mine of information that would come out of it”.
